Unpublished Works
The thing with writing, unless your dead famous and also just dead, sometimes people don't want what you've written. Even Stephen King, praise be his name, sometimes sits down and writes a story that just isn't right for the people he's writing it for.
I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not Stephen King.
Over the years, I've built up quite a collection of stories that nobody wanted, from Doctor Who fan fictions to short stories and poetry. Some of it wasn't right because it was rubbish, plain and simple. Some of it was written for specific opportunities that then mysteriously dried up. Other bits were simply written for the hell of it, and have never been formally submitted anywhere.
And now it's all here, clogging up your internet connection.
In an effort to take away the stench of failure hanging over this section of the site, I've also thrown a few other things in: bits and pieces that were written as part of my Drama Degree at Manchester University, for example, or a brief history of my stage career from then until now. Yes, I used to be an actor and a director. Don't worry: I got over it. Mostly.
