Poetry
I am by no means what you would call a poet: I've just dabbled a bit with the odd poem. That's all.
They've not been published anywhere, and they've never been sent anywhere. They're only here in the vain hope that someone will read them and proclaim me the next Dylan Thomas.
I used to live with a group of friends who used to write songs and poems on a daily basis. It rubbed off on me, but with the poetry I was only ever fascinated with the formal aspects: I'd discover a new form of verse, and then try to write a poem to fit it, rather than the other way round.babelfish
I had a brief period of trying to fit poetry into my plays, writing an unproduced trilogy around the magical village of Homestead, which was home to vampires, werewolves and all sorts of tricksy time nonsense. It didn't lead anywhere, but the poems are here separated from the plays they were written for.
If I write any more, expect to see them here.
