The Albino's Dancer

The Time Hunter books are a spin-off from Telos' highly popular Doctor Who novella range, and in particular Daniel O'Mahony's excellent The Cabinet of Light.

It's a great book, but thankfully you don't have to read it to be able to understand The Albino's Dancer, as it's been out of print since Telos lost their license to produce Doctor Who spin-offs.

I read the first book in the Time Hunter series, and immediately realised that I wanted to write for it: I'd wanted to do a non-linear story for years, and the set up of the range seemed to be the perfect home for it. I sent a brief synopsis across to David J Howe on the off-chance that he agreed, and after a long wait I found out that he did.requiem

However, with my usual publishing kiss-of-death, Telos announced that the Time Hunter range was drawing to a close just after my novella was published, so this will probably be my only chance to write for Honoré and Emily. The Albino's Dancer is a non-linear time travel romance that I swear I wrote the synopsis for long before reading The Time Traveller's Wife.

While you're here, you can read some reviews of the book, and lots of free stories that were written to give readers an idea of what a novella from me might be like: Niun Mi Tema is a short detective story intended to introduce Emily and Honoré, whilst Virgo is an unpublished story submitted to Big Finish where I first came up with the idea of the Albino himself. Then there's the Foreword, which was written just as a bit of fun, but also introduces the Time Hunter universe in a little more detail.
